This fibre optic cable is constructed with gel free PBT loose tube, Water blocking yarn, E-Glass Strength Member and LSZH outer Jacket with metric print. E-Glass gives better tensile strength and rodent protection. By installing this cable costly splicing at building entry can be avoided and cable can be routed from outside plant to telecommunication closets or main distribution frames (MDF) through the riser of building and eliminate the “50 foot rule” for External cables. The cable is mostly used in LAN applications for intra building backbone and interconnections (Campus LAN).
