  • Designed to be used together with high-density type patch panels.
  • The frame includes centrally positioned 19” mounting rails, ideal for installing Optical Distribution Frames (ODFs).
  • Provides ample space for fibre distribution and storage, ensuring easy installation and operation.
  • Designed for full front-side access, allowing convenient maintenance.
  • Maintains a controlled minimum bend radius of 30mm
  • Removable and adjustable cable guides on the right side ensure a minimum 30mm bend radius for patch cords from any ODF
  • Dual lateral canals on both sides, each with independent doors, ensure efficient fiber optic cable management and protection.
  • Side-hinged doors offer added security to the patch cord distribution area.
  • The frame's top or bottom-mounted optical cable inlet system ensures optimal incoming cable fixation.
  • Cables can be routed into the frame from either the top or bottom, depending on specific installation requirements
  • Suitable for both loose bundle and ribbon-type cables.
  • Equipped with a secure cable fixture cover and integrated grounding system for enhanced earth protection.
  • Available in standard colors such as white, black, and grey, with other color options available upon request.

ODF SUB-RACK

The Norden ODF Rack Mount Patch Panel is designed for seamless integration with the most advanced splice and patch systems, offering superior cable management for high-density carrier and transmission applications. This durable steel unit is ideal for terminating the provider's side of an optical fibre cable, providing ample space for splicing external optical fibres to pigtails. It serves as the mechanical foundation for fiber management, enabling efficient cable splicing, patch cord connections, and patching within a rack setup. Each tray in the ODF sub-rack features dedicated areas for both splicing and patching, ensuring organized and streamlined operations.

  • 19” ODF rack-mount case, complete with all necessary accessories for quick and simple installation.
  • 19” rack ears can be mounted in the front or rear of the case to meet various customer requirements.
  • Can hold removable trays with 12 SC or LC duplex adapters, designed for easy upgrades and system expansion
  • Supports multiple combinations of patching and splicing for versatile fibre management.
  • External cables can be accessed through left or right lateral entry points with full front access for user convenience
  • ODF can be supplied with or without adapters, pigtails, and heat shrink tubes (40mm or 50mm) based on user requirements
  • Fibre management accessories maintain a minimum bending radius of 30mm, ensuring cable protection.
  • A push-button or key-lock front door for easy access to trays and components.
  • Designed to manage patch cords up to 0.9mm in diameter, enabling efficient cable organization.
  • Allows cable entry from both the left and right sides for flexible installation.
  • Pigtails available with customizable connector types, cable materials ,lengths, and polishing options (UPC, APC).
  • Fully compliant with ITU-T G.651, G.652, G.655, and ISO 9001.
